March Meeting RSVP

We look forward to seeing everyone for this opportunity to learn and connect!

This month’s meeting will include a visit from Lorena Calderon and Support Center staff with a goal in mind of improving food safety in our restaurants. Additionally, Leaders will have the option (at their Operator’s discretion) to stay for a second session to further expand on learnings from the Food Safety Team.

From Lorena:

Leaders attending the workshop should be versed in food safety and familiar with the different reports (Safe Daily Critical, SAFE assessment, Food Safety Report, etc.).

  • It will be a hands-on workshop where participants will share tools and resources to find, understand and fix food safety issues in the restaurant. A real-life case study will be used and will promote idea sharing among participants.

  • Workshop will further equip leaders with tools to accelerate and sustain food safety.

What: Session 1’s Food Safety Meeting will be an opportunity for Operators and Leaders to learn from Lorena Calderon and the Support Center’s Food Safety team. For Session 2’s Leaders AIM Meeting, we will host a Q&A with Support Center food safety experts, break-out into small groups, and meet with other market Leaders to discuss how excellence in food safety is practiced in their own restaurants. We will conclude the second session with a brief opportunity for Leaders in the market to meet with one another to network, share ideas, and learn from one another.

Special Note: for the Leaders AIM Meeting, you may want your to have 1-2 talking-points related to food safety in your restaurant prepared in advance for discussion during the break-out’s. Examples of these may be systems, procedures, training materials, ideas, or anything else you use in your restaurant to support excellence in food safety. You may also prepare materials or visuals (digital or print) to help present your talking points to the team.
