Meet Donna Brieden,
In November 2000, I was doing some Christmas shopping at Walmart and noticed the Chick-fil-a sign for hiring Leadership Candidates. After 15 years of Manufacturing in the Semi-conductor business I thought lets try something new that might give me more time with my family. 25 years later I’m still here.
I have been given many opportunities with CKM Restaurant Inc. I started out as a night time team lead, promoted to Store Manager, then General Manager, and held dual roles as a Human Resource Director and Director of Finance. I have also trained future Operators in the very beginning stages of supplier payments, payroll and helped them open up their stores.
Chick-fil-a and Ken Massey and his family have given me a sense of belonging and have changed my life considerably including my two sons who have both worked for CKM Restaurant Inc. I’m currently working on going from mailing the FCR package to doing everything online.
In 25 years I have seen and mentored some families' children into becoming team members and leaders themselves in our organization. It is such a pleasure to be working for a corporation who actually cares about our future leaders and our surrounding communities.
I am so grateful for walking into that trailer 25 years ago and filling out that application, Chick-fil-a has such an impact on my life, and given me a sense of belonging to a family which has helped me grow in my faith and a desire to strive and grow as an individual who is up for any challenges life might throw us.
