Terms of employment offer

Please note the following:

CKM Restaurant Group, DBA Chick-fil-A at I-35/Ben White Blvd. and Chick-fil-A at South Mopac/US Hwy 290 West (henceforth referred to as “Chick-fil-A”) is prepared to make you an offer for employment for a team member position at one (or both) of our two franchised locations.

Dear New Chick-fil-A Team Member:

We are planning to host orientation this coming Monday, May 27, from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at Woodlawn Baptist Church. If you are unable to attend, we will have another orientation class in the coming month. I hope you can join us!

The terms are as follows:

  • The starting wage will be $13.00 per hour

  • A one week written or email, notice of resignation is required for the team member to be considered for rehire eligibility at any Chick-fil-A restaurant. However, a two week notice of resignation is encouraged and appreciated. If the one-week notice condition is not satisfied, the $13.00 wage rate will be forfeited and the rate of pay for the final pay period will be reduced to minimum wage.

  • Any work availability changes requested by the team member will be considered by the scheduling manager for approval. Availability changes (excluding requests for time-off or vacation) must be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the effective date of the change. Approvals for availability changes are based on the needs of the business, and will take into consideration the reason for the request (i.e. school, activities, other commitments). Availability changes that cannot be accommodated will not be approved. If a team member moves forward with the unapproved availability, the following circumstances may occur:

    • The team member’s hours may be significantly reduced

    • The team member may be removed from the schedule

    • The team member may forfeit his or her $13.00 wage rate, resulting in a reduction to minimum wage for the remainder of the time employed with Chick-fil-A.

  • You agree to the following:

    • My employment with Chick-fil-A is at-will, meaning that my employment is not for any specified period of time, that I can resign my employment with Chick-fil-A at any time for any reason, and that Chick-fil-A may terminate my employment at any time for any reason, with or without cause or advance notice, as permitted under applicable state and federal law. I acknowledge and agree that no oral or written statements or representations regarding my employment can alter the foregoing.
